BRIDGWATER police are keen to trace potentially dangerous drugs that were taken when a bag was stolen in the town.

At around 3.45pm on Thursday, the victim was shopping in Bridgwater Sport Direct store when the black bag was taken.

In the bag was a passport and Cypriot money as well as six 30mg Dihydrocodeine tablets, four 50mg Trammadol tablets and a GTN spray.

If falling into the wrong hands or taken without medical advice the drugs could be dangerous.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the theft.

Anyone finding the drugs should hand them in to the near police station or pharmacy.
