PLANS to extend the library at North Petherton Infants' School were given a boost in 1998 after the annual summer fete raised £670 for the appeal.
The rest of the cash raised by the fete, organised by the Friends of the school, went towards replacing aprons for the children.
Headteacher Mary Harvey thanked everyone for their efforts on the day.
