TALENTED musicians from across Bridgwater took to the YMCA stage for a brilliant Battle of the Bands competition.
A good crowd gathered on Tuesday night (March 20) to watch the nine bands perform - with each entrant playing two songs each.
The performers all came from local schools including Haygrove School, Chilton Trinity, Robert Blake and Bridgwater College Academy; with Tuxedo Movement from Haygrove running out as the judges favourites at the end of the night.
The band were proudly presented their award by the mayor and mayoress of Bridgwater Graham and Kay Granter.
Organiser Katie Newell said: "There was an excellent turnout and the competition was of a really high standard. The atmosphere on the night was lovely.
"Thank you to Sedgemoor FM for proving the sound and recording the show for the radio."
