A BRIDGWATER Slimming World group has moved to a bigger venue after a surge in members.

Sarah Ball, a Slimming World consultant from Bridgwater took over the Westonzoyland group in January says the group has been ‘very popular’ with residents.

She said: “I am delighted to have moved the Westonzoyland Slimming World group to the Village Hall as it is a much bigger venue.

“Due to the success and popularity of the group, it’s so important to be able offer the best level of service that I can.

“It’s what every member deserves.

“I feel passionately about helping people to transform their lives by losing weight in the same way that I did with Slimming World in 2015.”

Sarah initially trained to be a slimming consultant in 2016 after losing five and a half stone throughSlimmingWorld.

She set up a Friday group at the Sea Cadets in Bridgwater and says she is hopeful the new venue will encourage more people to come to the group.

The group has lost a combined total of 117 stone between them since the group was set up five months ago.

Sarah added: “Losing weight made me feel happier and healthier and gave me so much more confidence.

“Seeing the members in my groups reach their target weight is so rewarding and being able to comfortably welcome even more members is just the icing on the cake.”

Sarah’s Slimming World group will be held every Monday at 5.30pm and 7.30pm at Westonzoyland Village Hall on Cheer Lane.
