A 12-YEAR-OLD girl was the victim of an unprovoked assault by a group of teenagers in Bridgwater.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which took place around 5.20pm on Friday, October 7 between Angel Crescent and Mount Street Car Park.

The victim was stopped by a group of three girls and one boy and asked for a cigarette paper.

When the victim said she did not have the item one of the girls kicked her several times.

As a result of the attack the girl’s phone fell out of her pocket and fell apart. The group left towards Bridgwater House.

The first suspect, who initiated the attack, is described as white, wearing a lot of make-up, aged around 15 to 16 years with long light brown hair, a skinny build and around 5ft 5ins tall. She was wearing a grey crop-top, blue skinny jeans and white trainers.

The second girl is described as white, aged 15 to 16 years old, wearing lots of make-up, braces on her teeth, pink lipstick , with a pale complexion, blonde hair worn up in a messy style and a big build. She was wearing a t-shirt under a white jumper, black trousers and trainers

The third girl is described as white, aged around 15, boyish looking with blonde hair in a bun. She was wearing a red jacket, grey jogging bottoms and white high top trainers.

The boy was described as white, aged around 15 or 16 with wavy hair and wearing a blue and grey hoodie with grey jogging bottoms.
