MEMBERS of staff from three Bridgwater care homes were honoured for their long service to the industry.
The event was held at Milton House nursing home on May 19, with two members of Sydenham House staff, four members of Oak Trees staff and six members of Milton House staff.
Each was presented with their varying long service award and between them, the long service acknowledgements totalled 205 years.
The cook and kitchen staff at Milton House provided a buffet for the attendees, which included an assortment of homemade cakes, quiche, sandwiches, sausage rolls and desserts.
Awards were presented by assistant director of residential services, Carol Edwards, who thanked the individuals for their commitment, hard work and dedication to the residents they support.
