A group of dedicated Bridgwater fundraisers are holding a special silver celebration evening on behalf of Children’s Hospice South West.
The event will mark the charity’s 25th Anniversary and will take place on Saturday April 23 at Blake Hall.
A two course meal will be included, as well as music from Tim Pitman and Retro and two horse races with Steve Russell.
The Bridgwater Friends’ Group has been fundraising for their local children’s hospice, CHSW’s Charlton Farm in North Somerset, for over 10 years and have raised a staggering £281,272.
During this time they have held a range of events, including Christmas lights switch ons, clairvoyant evenings and Christmas and Easter bingo.
Chairperson, Gill Brown, began fundraising for CHSW following ten years of fostering children, meaning the local children’s charity is very close to her heart.
Kylie Gallagher, community fundraiser at CHSW, said: "This celebration evening is a very special milestone for the group who have worked tirelessly over the years for Children’s Hospice South West.
"We are really looking forward to celebrating with the group on this special anniversary for them and us."
Tickets cost £10 and are available through Gill Brown, 01275 866600 or from the CHSW Charity Shop in Fore Street, Bridgwater.
