HAWKRIDGE Fly Fishing Club are is appealing to the people of Bridgwater to get involved.
Formed 30 years ago, the club meets every month during the season from March to October and is are offering free tuition to anyone who wants to join.
The last AGM will be held at the Puriton Inn on October 1 at 8pm.
Club chairman Bob Palmer said members were keen to encourage new people to attend.
“We’d love to encourage people to come of all ages, as well as both men and women.
“There’s a variety of fish in the water at Hawkridge Reservoir such as rainbow trout, Arctic trout and golden trout.
“The biggest fish caught this year weighed nearly 15 pounds.
“We have spare rods and equipment for people to who want to try the sport out and it's much cheaper than people think."
