BRIDGWATER Carnival donated DVDs of last year's procession to nursing homes on Friday (February 23).
Carnival Committee president Chris Hocking gave Clifford Searle, president of Bridgwater Hospital's League of Friends, with the souvenirs.
They will now go to Milton House, Bridgwater Hospital, Broadway House, Gibb House, Rosary Nursing Home, Sydenham House, Drummuir Nursing Home, Oak Trees and Hilda Coles retirement homes.
Carnival Committee publicity officer Dave Stokes said: "It makes perfect sense to take the Carnival into the homes of the public, to enable them to see for themselves the fantastic entries which give Bridgwater Carnival the reputation of being the greatest illuminated parade in the world."
