EYE-CATCHING cyclists lit up the streets with The Bridgwater Way’s Neon Bike Party.
They rode into town on Thursday as part of an adult bike ride and a family-friendly community procession.
FAIRY wings and hi-vis vests – a great combination.
The fun began in the town hall, where workshops were held to help youngsters decorate their bikes and scooters with lights and reflectors, before taking to the streets in colourful convoy.
This was followed by the main Neon Bike Ride – a 50-minute procession followed by a celebration in the town hall, where riders enjoyed food and drinks, as well as information stalls and cycle-themed games.
CURTIS Green, eight, all set to saddle up.
The party was the latest in a series of events held to help promote The Bridgwater Way Project which have included cycle cinema film screenings, Christmas and Halloween events and a summer festival.
The initiative aims to transform travel in the town, making it easier and safer to walk or cycle.
