Volunteers sought to help with Bridgwater and Taunton Canal restoration project
VOLUNTEERS are being sought to help with a restoration project on the Bridgwater and Taunton Canal, where it was joined by the Chard Canal in Creech St Michael.
Work includes clearing vegetation, pollarding willows, creating a pond and wildflower meadow, building a path, planting trees and hedges, securing the pillbox and installing more benches.
