STUDENTS at Robert Blake Science College in Bridgwater had a visit from local vets.
Veterinary surgeon Jim Hughes and veterinary nurse Paula Cornish, from Blake Vets, visited environmental land-based science students at the school with a number of their furry and not so furry friends.
The students learned the importance of handling animals correctly and how to monitor their weight.
A spokesman for the school said: “It was a brilliant hands-on learning experience which the students thoroughly enjoyed.
“We’d like to say a big thank you to Blake Vets for all the work they do with the school.”
