Access to research in Somerset libraries

First published in News by

SOMERSET residents can now access more than 10 million academic papers covering a wide range of subjects, simply by visiting their local library.

The Access to Research service is the result of a unique collaboration between librarians and publishers, who have made their leading journal content available for free at libraries.

Resources now available for free through local library terminals include:

- Access to more than 10 million articles in more than 8,800 journals

- Health, biological sciences, business, economics and engineering account for 50 per cent of the
material.
