ANYONE with a burning desire to raise money for charity now has the opportunity to walk on fire.
The Somerset charity bibic, helps children with conditions affecting their social, communication and learning abilities, is running a firewalking challenge in Westonzoyland.
Geoff Cummins, chief executive for bibic, said: “This is the ultimate fundraising challenge and is perfect for the thrill seekers out there who are looking for a new adventure.”
The fire walk will take place on Friday, March 21 at 7pm at Westonzoyland Community Group and is hosted by Ups and Downs, a Down Syndrome support group.
Participants should arrive at 5.15pm for a pre-talk about the event, and anyone hoping to take part is asked to raise £80 for the registration fee as well as sponsorship money for the charity.
To register your interest, call 01458 252339 or email fundraising@bibic.org.uk.
