CANADIAN indie septet, Arcade Fire, have confirmed they will be headlining the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival 2014.
The group made the announcement last week by tweeting a picture with the words ‘Next year, one week in June’, with Friday June 27 marked as ‘Glastonbury’.
The confirmation is in-keeping with Festival founder Michael Eavis’ promise that all three headline acts for next year would be playing Glastonbury for the first time.
Arcade Fire’s fourth album, Reflecktor, which features backing vocals by David Bowie, reached the top spot in the UK album charts in November.
