A BRAVE little girl battling a serious genetic condition had her dreams come true when she was paid a special visit from the man of the moment.
Tayen Gilbert’s smile couldn’t have been bigger when Santa came to call.
The toddler, who has Neurofibromatosis, and has undergone chemotherapy for tumours on her brain, was due to be guest of honour at Sydenham Children’s Centre last week, but ended up being too unwell to attend.
Sedgemoor 2’s resident Santa decided to bring the festive cheer to her instead by delivering her a present from the centre’s staff.
Tayen’s family has set up a group called Tayen’s Journey to keep family and friends updated on her progress and raise awareness of her condition.
