THEY’VE been rocking all over the world and now Status Quo are heading to Somerset.

But if you want to see this legendary band you’d better snap up a ticket really quick.

The lads have announced their performance at Somerset Rocks on Friday, August 26, will be one of the last chances to see the band.

Now the organisers for the show have revealed that there are less than 10 per cent of tickets left.

Tickets for Jools Holland and Will Young’s shows on the same bank holiday weekend are also selling well with just a few seated tickets remaining, whilst there’s a greater availability for standing tickets.

Concert promoter, LCC Live’s Bob Reid, said: “We’ve had a superb response to Somerset Rocks, with tickets continuing to sell strongly.

“The news that this will be one of Status Quo’s last performances has certainly boosted sales, with just a few standing tickets left. We expect tickets to see Status Quo to sell out imminently, with tickets for Will Young and Jools Holland not too far behind.”

Somerset Rocks is a three-evening music event being held at Taunton’s Vivary Park to raise funds and awareness for St Margaret’s Hospice. It takes place during the August bank holiday weekend (26-28 August 26-282016) and features Status Quo (Friday 26 August 26); Will Young (Saturday 27 August 27); and Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra (Sunday 28 August 28).

Ann Lee, Chief Executive of St Margaret’s Hospice, said: “Tickets sales to date are beyond our expectations and we’re absolutely thrilled by the response from the public in terms of supporting Somerset Rocks, but also in helping to raise awareness of St Margaret’s Hospice. Somerset Rocks is one of a number of fundraising initiatives we’re undertaking as we seek to raise much-needed funds to ensure the longevity of our care services.”

Remaining tickets for all three shows are available online at: www.ticketline.co.uk; by phone: 0844 888 9991 or from St Margaret’s Hospice shops in Somerset.
