IT’S your last chance to book for the preview screening of Julien Temple’s new film ‘Rio 50 – Carry on Carioca’.

You can book tickets at www.somersetfilm.com or by calling into The Engine Room Cafe on Mondays-Fridays from 10am-4pm.

The film explores Rio’s explosive journey from the end of slavery to the brink of staging both World Cup and Olympics using the ever-changing rhythms of carioca music to narrate the tale.

Julien, an internationally acclaimed director and patron of Somerset Film will introduce the film.

The screening takes place at Bridgwater Town Hall on Saturday May 10 from 7pm.

Tickets cost £10 and a number of limited tickets for the screening and supper with Julien afterwards are available for £30.

All proceeds will go to the development of Engine Room 2.0, the planned major extension to the Engine Room premises.
