'Jazz from the prohibition' comes to Cossington

TWO outstanding musicians and raconteurs are bringing their ‘jazz from the prohibition years’ show to Cossington.
Mike Denham on piano and Tom ‘Spats’ Langham on banjo, guitar and vocals will be playing numbers by Cole Porter, Fats Waller, Django Reinhardt and other jazz greats, including Bing Crosby.
The performance will take the audience on an aural whistle-stop tour of Chicago, Paris, New Orleans and New York among other towns famed for their jazz roots.
Held at Cossington Village Hall on November 17 at 8pm (doors open from 7pm) the event will have a fully-licensed bar with cask conditioned ale.

A donation from the evening and a collection after the performance will be made on behalf of Bridgwater Hospital League of Friends.
