Viewers will see dog lover Simon Cowell appear to resist the charms of a hypnotic hound in tonight’s Britain’s Got Talent.
Simon, who is regularly photographed with his dogs Squiddly and Diddly, got on stage after Krystyna Lennon and her dog Princess had performed their act on members of the audience and presenting duo Ant and Dec.
But he failed to fall under her spell, saying: “Nothings happening.
“It’s just a normal dog, it’s just a dog with a huge tongue staring at me”, although later on in the show he appeared to fall asleep at his desk.
Other acts on the show include singer Paul Manners who proudly boasted of singing at Peter Andre’s brother’s wedding but then proceeded to forget the words to his own song Hold You (In My Arms).
Ant made fun of his forgetfulness, telling the audience: “He wrote it, produced it, mastered it, forgot it.”
But David Walliams came to his defence telling the Geordie duo: “If you two can have a pop career, it’s possible for anybody.”
