ANOTHER sighting of the Beast of Sedgemoor has been this week revealed to have happened at Catcott Heath.

John Heal contacted the Mercury to tell his story of the sighting of the big cat a few years ago.

"The animal was bigger than a Labrador dog, black with a long thick tail," he said.

"It was stalking a small group of roe deer, but when the deer realised that the animal was there they bolted from it.

"The animal broke cover and gave chase, it had all characteristics of a panther, or another large cat."
