TICKETS are now on sale at the Canalside Centre, Huntworth, Bridgwater, for June's big darts spectacular involving world champions Martin "Wolfie" Adams and Trina Gulliver.
They will be taking on the cream of local players at the centre, formerly Hinkley Point Sports & Social Club, on Friday, June 16. Both Adams and Gulliver will be competing in the English Open at Pontins, Brean, over the same weekend.
Adams, the England captain, won the Lakeside World Professional Championship for the first time this year and has been much in demand since. Trina Gulliver has won the women's world title for the last seven years.
The night is being organised by Somerset-based Double Top Promotions, whose chief Dave Williams is also Adams's agent.
The respective MPs of Bridgwater and Taunton, Ian Liddell-Grainger and Jeremy Browne, are expected to be present.
