A WOMAN has been taken to Musgrove Park Hospital with neck injuries, a spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service has confirmed.

Police have also clarified that the incident, which occurred at around 1.30pm, involved a single vehicle – a motorhome – which collided with the central reservation.

Fire crews released the woman, who was trapped in the vehicle, and the ambulance service treated her at the scene.

ALL lanes have now reopened on the M5 following the crash. There are still tailbacks.

Motorist Pauline White has been stuck in traffic for 25 minutes.

She said: "People are slowing on the opposite side of the carriageway to take pictures, which isn't helping the situation."

TRAFFIC is stationary as a result of the collision, which is reported to have involved a campervan.

All lanes are now blocked just before J25 northbound on the M5.

It is said traffic is slowing on the opposite side of the carriageway as motorists slow to look at the scene of the incident.

TWO lanes are closed on the M5 between Wellington and Taunton due to a crash.

The collision happened northbound between junction 26 and junction 25 at around 1.30pm today (May 16).

Traffic is slow and motorists are being told to expect delays.
