WHAT a polished and professional performance of Les Miserables by Acts at the Town Hall this week.
Les Mis is my favourite musical and having seen it eight times I was not disappointed with this show. I know Alan and Val King and helpers work hard with these youngsters and to see the cast give such a mature performance was a real credit to all concerned.
This is only the third Acts show I have seen, but I will certainly be going again. To see the show receive a standing ovation must have brought great pleasure to all who worked so hard and especially all the youngsters who performed, I even wanted to stand and applaud at half time. Well done everyone.
