I WAS privileged to be at the Town Hall stewarding for Acts Theatre School during their performance of Les Miserables and what a performance it was, just brilliant.
Every solo, chorus and the acting was outstanding and looking around the hall seeing adults with a tissue at their eyes, even myself, it says it all. The show was produced, once again, by Alan Val King.
I also must mention the stage setting, which you could not fault and the backstage people who moved around without any noise. I hope the solo people will move on to bigger things as they deserve it.
At the finale everyone in the audience stood with an ovation. Keep putting on shows like this as it is good for Bridgwater.
