SOMERSET'S Craig Overton ended the third day of England's Ashes warm-up match with Cricket Australia XI with impressive figures of 2-10 from seven overs.
The fast bowler took his chance to impress with the ball, clean bowling opposition captain Tim Paine (5) and then having Jason Sangha (5) caught by Joe Root.

With four wickets for Chris Woakes and another for Jimmy Anderson, the Australians were reduced to 25-7 in just 17.1 overs, but Matt Short (28no) and Gurinder Sandhu (17no) hit back.
They made it to 70-7 at the close of play - with Mason Crane, the spinner preferred to Overton's club-mate Jack Leach by the England selectors, taking much of the damage with 0-27 - but still trail the tourists by 197 runs.

IN the Women's Ashes test, meanwhile, Australia concluded the second day trailing England by 103 runs with five wickets remaining.
Somerset's Anya Shrubsole had Elyse Villani (14) caught behind as she finished with 1-21 off 13 overs, while also claiming the catch to dismiss Nicole Bolton (24) from the bowling of Laura Marsh.
Ellyse Perry is the woman keeping Australia in touch, as she hit 70 not out for the hosts.
