Jamie Murray’s quest for a first men’s doubles title at Wimbledon remains on course after he and partner Bruno Soares eased into the quarter-finals.
The Scot and Soares, who have won the Australian Open and US Open together, beat British brothers Ken and Neal Skupski 6-3 6-4 6-4.
One break of serve in each set proved enough for Murray and Soares to march through to a meeting with either Leonardo Mayer and Joao Sousa or Raven Klaasen and Michael Venus.
Murray has won the mixed doubles twice at the All England Club, including last year with Martina Hingis, and was due back on court later on Monday with new partner Victoria Azarenka.
