SAPPHIRES played a levelheaded game against a Quantock side with many years of experience.
Great defending from Debbie Chapman and Karen Lewis ensured that many of the Quantock attempts at goal were forced and unsuccessful.
Katie Ball and Emma Jayne Brown filling in at centre and goal attack both had a good game, linking well with Laura Coombes at wing attack and Nic Hale at GS. The outstanding player of the match was Carly Martin at WD who hassled her opponent until the end of the game, helping Sapphires achieve a 41 - 25 win.
