CONSIDERING this was the Carey first team who are second in the league, Morgs held out well.
The half time score was 0-8 to Carey, their points came from an early drop goal and soon after an unconverted try.
Morgs' defensive play was creditable and in fact they came near to scoring in the second half with forward drives. Prominent in the forwards was man of the match Simon Faber.
The home side made four replacements during the second half - Roy Frimstead and Capt Nigel Smith came of due to injuries and John Snow and Nathan Chillingworth were replaced.
Morgs now face Crewkerne away on Saturday.
