A STRONG Reserves team took on Ashton and Backwell Utd last Tuesday and took maximum points after a confident win.
Mike Mackay, who had dropped from the first team, opened the scoring at 25 minutes then had a second attempt ruled out for offside.
Reserves controlled the first half quite well with great energy from the midfield.
At the start of the second half, Reserves knew they had to secure a second goal - which came from Tom Hopkins.
With five minutes to go, Lewis Irish bagged the third to complete the 3-0 win.
