TO celebrate a successful 2010, Over Stowey Cricket Club held its annual dinner and presentation evening at the village hall.
Over 90 people attended, including players, partners, vice presidents and sponsors.
A four-course meal was followed by a succession of speeches and the presentation of trophies.
In his first season as a Stowey player, Andrew Jeanes scooped two major awards - Ist XI player and players’ player, showing the strength and influence he has brought to the club.
The other winners were: 1st team - batting: Phil Rich; bowling: Gary Thomas; 2nd team - batting: Roger Shepherd, bowling: Michael Barrow; player of the year: Carl Woodley: others - most improved young player: Jack Rich; most improved club player: Mike Hawker; clubman: Steve Easden.
Thanks went to Kevin and Wendy for organising the evening, and to Windsor Caterers.
