AFTER the previous week’s crushing of Minehead, Saturday’s trip to Burnham was an altogether tougher test for Bridgwater.
The visitors fell behind to an early penalty, but took the lead on 23 minutes when Dan Page scored the first of his three tries, all of which were converted by Jonathan Frost.
Page got his second try on 30 minutes but Burnham responded with a converted score of their own right on half-time.
After the break, Page completed his hat-trick on 60 minutes, before Frost rounded off the scoring with a penalty on 65 minutes.
Team: Kerry, Burrows (Taylor), Rear, Coates, Richards (Pike), Rogers, Page, Jenkins, Long, Ruddle (Moulding), Wogan (capt), Grubb, Stuckes, Frost, Hobbs (Frecknell).
