Bridgwater United put the disappointment of their defeat to Shepton Mallet behind them as they edged past St Austell in Cornwall.
The Robins went into the game on the back of securing just one win in the previous four games and were looking for a win to inject some positivity.
Bridgwater United made the perfect start to the match as a penalty was awarded to them on six minutes and Josh Wadham stepped up to convert it.
The visitors soon doubled their lead on 16 minutes when Fin Koppa scored to give the Robins some comfort and reward for their flying start to the match.
That score stayed the same until the 55th minute when St Austell were awarded a penalty which was converted.
Bridgwater United are now in 12th place in the Jewsons Western League and face league-leaders Clevedon on Thursday (September 26).
