AFTER Bridgwater United's strong start to the Western League campaign, manager Dave Pearse is pleased.
"I am happy with how things are going, and I am pleased to see how we have bounced back after being knocked out of the FA Cup last week.
"Against Oldland we were dominant, picked up three points with six goals scored, another strong performance."
Bridgwater have won four of their six opening league fixtures and currently have a goal difference of positive 12.
"We have been confident going forward and scoring goals, however as we saw in this win against Oldland, we made some sloppy mistakes at the back.
"That perhaps took some shine off this win but we will work on that in training."
Looking forward, Bridgwater have a local derby against Street this week.
"Our supporters are great home and away and I am sure at Street we will have big numbers.
"Hopefully we can carry on our league form, I know it is going to be tough but we will be going there full strength and hopefully we can come away with three points."
That match kicks off at 7.45pm on Friday, September 15 at Street.
