NORTH Petherton Rugby Football Club has confirmed that Exeter Chiefs centre, Dan Frost has joined their coaching staff.

For the upcoming 2023/24 campaign, Frost will be working alongside Head Coach Dean Lloyd-Christie and forwards coach Alex Olgivie who both joined the coaching team last season.

Frost started his playing career at North Petherton RFC and joined Exeter Chiefs in Oct 2022 after his former club Wasps entered into administration.

Club chairman Nick Rees expressed his happiness to have Frost join the team.

"I am very pleased to have Dan on board the all action hooker began his career with Bath Academy, but it was at Taunton Titans that Dan started to make a name for himself in the National Leagues.

"He enjoyed a fantastic spell under the guidance of Tony Yapp before he joined the Championship side Cornish Pirates for season 2017/18.

"He impressed many on and off the field and was noted at a higher level by a number of clubs including Wasps who brought him for the season 21/22.

"Frost has also played in the England Under-18s and we are thrilled to have our local premiership player on our coaching squad."

Elsewhere at the club, the Colts this season are being coached by Harry Roberts who is also a former player of NPRFC.

Pre-Season starts this week on July 11 at 7pm and runs every Tuesday and Thursday through July & August.

The club is welcoming players back for the forthcoming season and also looking for new players of all abilities to join the club in Adult Mens, Colts or Ladies Rugby.

North Petherton RFC pride themselves on the investment that they have worked on since last year by replacing the whole of the roof.

The club also put in a side extension on the side of the function suite enabling them to have a refurbished function hall ready for any type of party of conference.

All of this was helped by grants from Valencia, North Petherton Town Council and the RFU plus alot of hard work form the club itself.
