Old Morganians 8-50 Bridgwater & Albion Second XV
Bridgwater and Albion claimed the bragging rights at the end of this keenly contested local derby match.
The Albion side that included several players who had been involved with the First XV game against Sidmouth the previous evening, and some playing out of position merged well together to turn in a good performance.
One of the highlights of the match was a hat-trick of tries from Albion skipper Dan Lang who demonstrated his dinking skills, while Jay Owens converted five of the eight tries that were scored by the visitors.
Newcomer Nicholas Aptel gave an impressive performance for Bridgwater.
Bridgwater & Albion lineup with: Drabble, Owens, Lang, Saunders, Le Ster, Kerry, Galloway, Aptel, J Parker, West, Palmer, Hodge and Bishop.
Replacements- Modley, Philkips and Brakes.
Next up, the seconds host Wells II on Saturday, November 12 in the Counties 3 Tribute Somerset South division.
