TOM Lammonby scored Somerset's first century of 2021 in the final match of their pre-season campaign, but it was not enough to deny Glamorgan a four-wicket win at Taunton.
Batting first in the three-day match, Somerset made 262-8 from 71 overs, as Tom Abell contributed 51, James Hildreth 34, Eddie Byrom 40, Lewis Gregory 34* and Josh Davey 53* (off just 39 balls).
The visitors responded with 238-6 from 72 overs, with Andrew Balbirnie (82) and Billy Root (49*) top scoring, while Craig Overton claimed 2-36 off 12 overs.
There were also wickets for Jack Brooks, Davey, Gregory and - on his first appearance since returning from England's Test series in India - Jack Leach.
Jack Leach has a wicket on his first appearance at the CACG since 2019!

The home side's second innings saw them make 247-6 off 61.1 overs, with Tom Banton (38), Abell (37 retired) and Hildreth (42) all scoring well.
But it was Lammonby who stood out, reaching 102 from 138 balls, at which point he retired.

Callum Taylor took 3-59 for Glamorgan, who sought to chase down 272 for victory.
It was a task they managed in 63 overs, with four wickets still in hand, despite Marchant de Lange claiming 2-38 for the hosts.
Nick Selman (50 retired) and Kiran Carlson (54 retired) top scored for the away side in their successful run chase.
Pre-season now complete, the serious business starts for Somerset on Thursday, when they play away to Middlesex in their County Championship opener.
