BRIDGWATER Town Football Club supporters have raised more than £7,500 to help the club overcome financial pressures following the early end to the 2019/20 season.
The club’s JustGiving page has brought in £3,100 from 91 supporters, and taking into account direct donations via phone and post, the total announced by the club is a massive £7,775.
The club intends to use this money to manage its ongoing overheads, and continue work on the pitch at Fairfax Park.
Middlezoy Rovers FC is also crowdfunding, and its campaign is up to £3,366 from 104 supporters - the fundraising page is here.
