BRIDGWATER Women are still searching for their first win in South & West Women’s Regional Premier cricket this season, after a seven-wicket defeat at home to Bath on Sunday.
Bridgwater were understrength due to injuries and holidays (so a couple of debuts were made), and it was the visitors who came out on top at The Parks.
The Bridgwater batting order struggled, with Emily Geach (7) and Georgia Tulip (15) top scoring.
Despite a wicket for Geach and two more for R. Roberts, Emma Godman (15), Katie Dolman (8no) and Chloe Micklethwaite (17no) got the visitors to the finish line.
This Sunday (July 28, noon start) sees Bridgwater go to Briton Ferry Steel, with what should be a stronger team.
They travel on Newport on August 4, before their next home game (against Briton Ferry Steel) follows on August 11.
