WEMBDON Cricket Club's ladies team have had a highly successful softball season that saw them secure the South Somerset league with a game to spare, going undefeated over the campaign.

The league title saw them qualify for the regional finals; they didn’t win, but every player put in a fantastic performance.

Wembdon Ladies are already looking forward to next season and the winter league.

It’s been a fantastic year for women's and girls' cricket, and the team are always looking for new recruits.
