BRIDGWATER Town will look to stretch their unbeaten league run to 16 games when they face Wellington and Westbury United in an Easter double-header this weekend.

Tomorrow brings the Robins' final home match of the season, with near-neighbours Wellington visiting Fairfax Park for a 1pm kick-off.

Wellington have been a bogey side for Town in recent times, winning both meetings last season and drawing 1-1 in the reverse fixture on Boxing Day.

The Robins have plenty of former Tangerines in their squad, but one of them - top scorer Jack Taylor - will miss both Easter fixtures through suspension.

Bridgwater co-manager Dave Pearse said: “We do owe Wellington one.

“Our former Wellington players didn’t perform when we played down there earlier in the season so, hopefully, they can put that right this time.

“It’s our last home game so we want to give the supporters something to cheer.”

Easter Monday brings a trip to Westbury United (ko 3pm), the team directly below the Robins in the table.

Seventh-placed Middlezoy drew 1-1 at title hopefuls Chilcompton Sports on Tuesday night, while eighth-placed Ilminster are on good form, only losing twice since the turn of the year.

Saturday sees Bridgwater Town Reserves host Yatton & Cleeve United, and Middlezoy Rovers Reserves entertain Winscombe Reserves (both ko 3pm).
