Odd Down 0, Bridgwater Town 3
THREE second-half strikes handed Bridgwater Town a 3-0 victory over Odd Down at the Lew Hill Memorial Ground on Saturday.
The first half was a stalemate, with the best chance coming for the hosts, only for George Lloyd's half-volley to be tipped onto the crossbar by Robins goalkeeper James Annison, who was at full stretch to make a brilliant save.
It only took five minutes of the second half for the away side to break the deadlock, as Jake Llewellyn and Jake Brown combined, and Brown's low cross was bundled in by Sam Towler at the far post.
And it was 2-0 on 64 minutes, when prolific frontman Jack Taylor was left unmarked to nod home from Ian Bellinger's well-measured cross.
Taylor capped off the victory with his second, and the Robins' third, in stoppage time, as he ran onto Llewellyn's pass and drove into the box before picking out the top right-hand corner.
Bridgwater Town: James Annison, Craig Allan, Jake Llewellyn, George Painter, Tom Ellis, Mark Armstrong (Harry Horton 52), Mike Duffy, Sam Towler, Jake Brown (Carl Jones 62), Ian Bellinger, Jack Taylor.
Bridgwater remain unbeaten in 2019 and sit fourth in the Premier Division table, ahead of a trip to second-placed Plymouth Parkway next Saturday (ko 3pm).
