North Petherton 19, Teignmouth 16

A LATE try from Dominik Griffin ensured North Petherton will go into Friday night's big derby against Bridgwater & Albion off the back of a win.

Visitors Teignmouth had hit back from 12-3 down to lead 16-12 going into the dying minutes before Griffin charged over late on to secure the spoils at Beggars Brook.

Pethy had opened up their initial lead courtesy of two tries from Greg Charlton, the first of which came from a well worked catch and drive before he collected Griffin's offload to score his second.

The Devon visitors struck back courtesy of Faolan Lidstone, who added a try and conversion to three penalties to put his side in the driving seat.

Pethy weren't done, however, and Griffin's try was added to by Harry Auton's conversion as the hosts ran out narrow victors.
