IN-FORM Bridgwater & Albion are on home turf this weekend as they seek a sixth South West 1 (W) win on the spin.

Looking to this weekend’s match at home to Keynsham (3pm), who Albion beat 29-22 in October, Albion director of rugby Geoff Sluman said: “Keynsham are a gritty team and have had some good results.

“In January, they beat Okehampton who are a very capable team and currently league leaders.”

Albion's recent good run has taken them to within two points of third in a closely-fought division.

North Petherton are down in 10th but could leapfrog Thornbury if they can win in Gloucestershire on Saturday.

Pethy are looking to bounce back from last weekend's defeat at third-placed Newent.

Both Albion and Pethy's 2nds are in Somerset 1 action - Bridgwater host Cheddar Valley and Pethy welcome Old Sulians.

Morganians travel to Chard 2nds in Somerset 2 South.
