THE three unbeaten sides in Division 1 of the Invest SouthWest Taunton Saturday League continued their remarkable runs as they each won their games to nil at the weekend, writes Matt Whelan.

Table-toppers Bishops Lydeard Reserves’ defence excelled once more, as their 4-0 victory means they have now kept four clean sheets in their last five outings.

Their strikeforce impressed too, with efforts from Andrew James, Canal Robinson, Rhys Ford and Patrick Sherwood seeing off Westonzoyland.

Wembdon are piling on the pressure, as they thrashed Porlock 7-0 to stay one point behind Lydeard.
