BRIDGWATER & Albion play their final match of the calendar year on Saturday when Hornets are the visitors to College Way.

Albion – now fifth in the table after last weekend's narrow victory over Teignmouth – won 41-32 when the two sides met earlier in the season.

Director of rugby Geoff Sluman said: "I am massively respectful of Hornets; they are very capable so we will be pushing for a good performance.

"I am sure they will want revenge for the earlier result and we won't really be able to surprise them again.

"It is the last league game before Christmas so we won't be saving anything back."

The Musgrave brothers, George and Jack, both played for Bridgwater & Albion at St Ives earlier this month.

Jack, 23, came on as a replacement the previous week against Okehampton, but this was the first time that he was included in the starting line-up, while older brother George (26) was making his debut for the 1st XV.

Jack played at blindside flanker, while George played in the second row.

Their dad played for Morganians and both brothers played when they were at school, but it wasn't until this summer that they'd had any involvement with Albion.

George said: "It was a very big sporting occasion for the family, and both Mum and Dad came down to watch us.

"They were very proud to see us playing together for the first time for Bridgwater."

Both brothers also play cricket for Middlezoy CC.
