BRIDGWATER & Albion are looking to brush off last weekend's derby defeat to North Petherton, as they entertain Okehampton at College Way tomorrow.

Albion are fourth in the South West 1 West standings, with a couple of tough matches to come.

Director of rugby Geoff Sluman said: “We remain in fourth place in the league, with the teams directly above us being Okehampton and St Ives.

“We play those two teams in our next two fixtures, hosting Okehampton this Saturday and visiting St Ives on Saturday, December 1.

“Therefore, some may think it doesn’t get any easier, and while that is certainly true, this group of players look forward to playing the teams above us, as it gives us a real opportunity.”

As for North Petherton, 25-22 winners over Albion last Friday, they also face a tricky test tomorrow, away to fifth-placed Hornets.

Pethy are currently 10th, seven points behind both Albion and Hornets.

Tomorrow's other games see Albion's 2nd XV host Crewkerne, and their 3rds travel to take on Wiveliscombe 2nds.

On Sunday, North Petherton Ladies welcome St Mary's Old Boys to Beggars Brook.

Pethy Ladies are third in the Women's NC South West 1 table, and are looking to upset St Mary's, who top the standings with six wins from six so far.
