WELLINGTON AFC are without a scheduled match this weekend, after having played away to Bridport on Wednesday night.

The Tangerines held their hosts to a stalemate in the first half, and could have even led, with chances falling to Jack Bryant and Joe Chamberlain, but it all went wrong after the break.

Kamaron Andrews broke the deadlock with a fine finish, Leighton Thomas lobbed keeper Josh McLean, and Mark Salter sealed the 3-0 win with a pin-point free-kick.

Wellington's next match is away to Shepton Mallet on Saturday, December 1.

Bishops Lydeard do have a match in the First Division of the Western League tomorrow, at home to Wincanton Town (ko 3pm).

They will hope to build on their 4-0 win over Bishop Sutton last time out, which moved them up to 13th; Wincanton are 14th in the table.

The Somerset County League sees Watchet Town face a tough assignment away to Shirehampton, who are second in the Premier Division (ko 2.30pm).

In Division 1, Minehead AFC travel to Somerton, while Staplegrove are at Timsbury Athletic (both ko 2.30pm).

Sunday sees Bishops Lydeard Ladies host Callington Town in the South West Women's League (ko 2pm).

And in the Somerset Women's League, Bishops Lydeard Reserves entertain Combe, while Wellington Ladies go to Portishead Reserves (both ko 2pm).
