BRIDGWATER Town manager Dave Pearse is hoping his side can keep their momentum going as they host Roman Glass St George on Saturday.

The Robins sit top of the Toolstation Western League Premier Division after last weekend's 5-1 win at Shepton Mallet, and they were further boosted by the news that striker Jack Taylor and winger Jake Llewellyn have turned down approaches from Southern League clubs to stay with Town.

Looking ahead to this weekend's match, Pearse said: "They have done really well since coming up.

"They are a good attacking side, as are we, so it should be an entertaining match.

"We are looking to find consistency and keep our momentum going."

Elsewhere this weekend, Middlezoy Rovers - boosted by a cup win at Clevedon United last weekend - travel to Nailsea & Tickenham in the Somerset County League Premier Division.

In Division 1, table-topping Bridgwater Town Reserves are at Timsbury Athletic, while Middlezoy Rovers Reserves host Yatton & Cleeve United Reserves in Division 3.
