TAUNTON Titans are looking to bounce back from a disappointing result last weekend as they head to Old Albanians on Saturday.
The Titans were beaten 17-13 by Henley Hawks at Hyde Park last time out (see page 116), a performance which left head coach Tony Yapp bemoaning his side’s “blunt and predictable” attack.
They are in for another tough test this weekend, too - their St Albans-based hosts have won four of their opening seven matches this season having been relegated from National One last season.
Elsewhere this weekend, the regional leagues return after a two-week break.
There is a big game at Bridgwater & Albion, who host Launceston in a meeting of the South West One West top two.
Wellington also welcome league leaders, with Western Counties West table-toppers Sidmouth making the trip to the Athletic Ground.
In the Somerset Premier, Wiveliscombe host Nailsea & Backwell and Minehead Barbarians are at home to Hornets 2nds.
Wyvern welcome Tor 2nds in Somerset Three South.
